那么，作为我国经济最发达的城市，和新加坡相比，上海的经济表现又如何呢？
作为我国的经济中心，上海的经济发展毫无疑问代表了我国的最高水平。
位于我国长三角地区的上海，是我国四大直辖市之一，总面积足有6340.5平方千米，大小接近新加坡的九倍。
得益于优秀的地理位置，上海的经济水平一直领先全国，2023年，上海市的GDP总量超过了4.72万亿元。
仅从总量上来看，上海的经济发展已经超越了新加坡，但如果从人均水平来进行比较，二者之间还有着明显差距。
据统计，上海的常住人口大概是2487万人，是新加坡总人口的四倍还要多。
这样算下来，上海的人均GDP约为19万元人民币，尽管在我国已经是排在榜首的水平，但和新加坡超过60万元水平相比还有这明显差距。

由于临近新加坡这边的海域水文条件更加优秀，可以让更大的船舶通行，新加坡也依靠着马六甲海峡特殊的地理位置，成为了世界最繁忙的港口之一。

依靠着马六甲海峡，新加坡才能够再国际社会上拥有如此重要的地位，成为全世界第二大货运港口。
不过，我国为了在未来不必因为马六甲海峡而受到新加坡以及美国的钳制，近年来也在东南亚不断布局爱上海龙凤419。
